Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Quote Builder Tester

to join our QA team on a

6-month contract (extendable) . The candidate will be responsible for testing Quote Builder and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) applications to ensure functionality, performance, and system integration quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash process, test automation, and integration testing with backend systems such as Salesforce or Oracle CPQ.

Key Responsibilities :

Review business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Perform

functional ,

integration ,

regression , and

end-to-end testing

for Quote Builder and CPQ systems.

Validate workflows, pricing logic, configuration rules, and approval processes.

Conduct both

manual

and

automated testing

(as applicable).

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.

Execute API and backend validation testing using tools like

Postman

or

RestAssured .

Participate in

UAT support , defect triage, and root cause analysis.

Prepare detailed test reports, track issues, and ensure quality delivery within timelines.

Work closely with the QA lead to improve testing coverage and automation efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

5+ years

of experience in software testing, including at least

2+ years

in Quote Builder or CPQ application testing.

Strong understanding of

Quote-to-Cash ,

pricing , and

product configuration

workflows.

Hands-on experience with

manual and automation testing

tools.

Experience using

test management tools

such as

JIRA ,

TestRail , or

Zephyr .

Knowledge of

API testing tools

(Postman, RestAssured).

Familiarity with

SQL

for data validation and backend testing.

Good understanding of

Agile / Scrum methodologies .

Strong analytical and defect reporting skills.

Preferred Skills : Experience with

Salesforce CPQ ,

Oracle CPQ Cloud , or other CPQ platforms.

Exposure to

automation frameworks

(Selenium, Cypress, TestNG).

Basic knowledge of

CI / CD pipelines

and version control (Git).

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

Soft Skills :

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently in a contract environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proactive in identifying risks and ensuring product quality.
