Job Description :

We are looking for experienced and certified Surgery Quality Control Analysts (QCA) to join our healthcare quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and auditing surgical coding and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to official coding guidelines and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review surgical medical records and operative reports to validate correct CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
• Ensure documentation supports the codes assigned and complies with payer-specific requirements and industry coding standards.
• Perform regular audits on coded data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with coders or physicians to clarify inconsistencies or ambiguities in documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent future errors.
• Maintain knowledge of current coding updates, policies, and regulations (e.g., CMS, AAPC, AHIMA).
• Prepare and present audit findings and quality reports to leadership.
