Job Opportunity : Senior Team Lead – Controls

Location : Pune (Kharadi)

Reports to : Project Manager Engineering / Manager Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Team Lead – Controls to lead a dynamic team of engineers in designing and implementing advanced control systems for large-scale Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Parcel Handling Solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to combine leadership, technical expertise, and global project exposure, delivering automation solutions that ensure operational excellence in airports and parcel hubs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 15+ Controls Engineers, ensuring skill and competency development.
• Manage team escalations, daily resource allocation, hiring, and subcontracting activities.
• Identify training needs and implement structured training programs.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Project Management, Service, and R&D teams as a consultant.
• Monitor project risks and opportunities, driving improvements across teams.
• Ensure system performance validation through thorough FAT / SAT testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to department KPIs.
• Provide technical oversight during commissioning and ensure smooth customer handovers.
• Willingness to travel internationally (short-term) for project execution and team management.
