Job Description :

• Develop, design & implement interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements and data insights.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into effective Power BI solutions.
• Build data models, write DAX queries & create calculated measures and columns to support advanced data analysis.
• Utilize Power Query to clean, transform & load data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud data storage.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance, ensuring fast loading times, efficient data refreshes & smooth user interaction.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and other security measures to ensure secure and role-based access to data.
• Maintain and update Power BI datasets, reports & dashboards to align with evolving business needs and new data sources.
• Work with data engineering teams to integrate Power BI with data pipelines and ensure consistent and accurate data flow into reports.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, performance, and user access, providing prompt resolutions to ensure uninterrupted reporting.
• Provide technical support and training to end users on how to effectively use Power BI for self-service analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Power BI solutions with broader business intelligence and data strategy efforts.
• Document report requirements, data sources, data transformation processes, and visualizations for ongoing maintenance and future development.
• Contribute to the optimization of Power BI governance practices, ensuring consistency and version control across different reporting environments.
• Participate in report lifecycle management, from initial design and development to testing, deployment & updates.
• Work with stakeholders to implement feedback and enhance the functionality and usability of Power BI reports and dashboards.
