We are looking for a Designer / Draftsman to join our growing Global Facilities team to support mechanical design activities on projects in the North America region, India, and Asia Pacific Region .
Key Responsibilities
- Produce models for HVAC and Plumbing services using REVIT MEP BIM by agreeing on drawing strategy, type, size, and numbering with the project engineer / consultant / client, and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient working methods.
- Use templates for CAD / BIM work and CAD / BIM library items to assist in design work.
- Produce construction deliverables in 2D format such as :
- HVAC ducting layout
- Piping layout, piping general arrangements, pipe routing studies, P&IDs
- General arrangement drawings of equipment rooms
- Plumbing drawings & riser diagrams
- Plans and section drawings
- Equipment schedules and installation detail drawings
- Coordinate assigned scope of work with other disciplines to generate a clash-free design.
- Have a good understanding of LOD 100 to 450 and knowledge of as-built work.
- Size ducts, accessories, and hydraulic piping based on codes and best industry practices.
- Take increased engineering design responsibilities by closely working with the discipline lead engineer.
- Be a committed team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication skills (verbal & written), and the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.

Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI / NCTVT Mechanical DraftsmanMinimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Data Center / Commercial MEP designExperience in development of general arrangement drawings, ducting layouts, piping layouts, plumbing drawings, riser drawings, etc., using 3D or 2D design toolsWorking knowledge of international codes and standards ( ASHRAE, ASME, International Plumbing Code, International Building Code, etc. ) used in Commercial, Warehouse, Aviation, and Residential projectsSkills Required
