Site Manager Construction Superintendent – Data Center Projects (MEP Focus)

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

Were hiring a seasoned Construction Manager Data Center Site Execution to lead the field execution of large-scale data center construction projects. This role is critical to keeping jobs on schedule on budget and built to the highest quality and safety standards. These projects involve highly complex mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems so were looking for someone with a strong background managing technical builds and coordinating multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.

Youll serve as the lead on-site manager directing day-to-day operations and working closely with subcontractors engineers and the project management team to deliver best-in-class facilities for some of the worlds top tech clients.

This opportunity is for a new client located in Pune India where we are aiming to establish and expand our local team. More details about this client and the project will be shared at a later stage of the recruitment process.

At this point the project is expected to last 912 months with a strong possibility of extension. We are currently looking to recruit two team members for this initiative one project manager and one superintendent.

Key Responsibilities :

Take ownership of all field operations from site prep through closeout.

Lead daily coordination of subcontractors with a heavy focus on MEP trades.

Maintain and drive project schedule flag delays and implement recovery plans when needed.

Conduct daily safety walks enforce safety protocols and lead weekly safety meetings.

Oversee QA / QC in the fieldensure all installations meet specs drawings and code.

Coordinate inspections testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.

Work with the PM team on RFIs submittals and field-related change orders.

Manage jobsite logistics deliveries laydown areas and equipment staging.

Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field engineers.

Qualifications :

7 years of experience in commercial construction with at least 3 years as a Superintendent on MEP-intensive projects.

Previous experience on mission-critical jobs like data centers labs healthcare or high-security facilities is strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of MEP systems sequencing and coordination challenges.

Proven ability to lead field teams manage schedules and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Proficiency with construction software (Procore Bluebeam P6 etc.).

OSHA 30 certification required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interface confidently with owners consultants and field crews.
