Xylem Karnataka is seeking a Community Associate to build, manage, and grow our online and offline communities. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong content creation skills and the ability to foster engaging interactions with students and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media, audience engagement, and digital content distribution.
About the Role
The Community Associate will be responsible for developing and managing content, engaging with the community, and optimizing digital channels to enhance audience interaction and growth.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Management
- Develop, plan, and create engaging content for multiple platforms, including social media, WhatsApp, Telegram, and the website.
- Coordinate with the creative team to design visually compelling graphics, videos, and written content.
- Monitor content trends and audience preferences to optimize content strategies for better engagement.
- Community Engagement & Growth
- Act as the primary point of contact for Xylem Karnataka's community, fostering an interactive and supportive environment.
- Build and manage online groups, forums, and social media pages to facilitate discussions and engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement, expand audience reach, and build relationships with influencers and stakeholders.
- Channel Management
- Oversee and optimize all digital distribution channels, including Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
- Implement strategies to enhance reach, engagement, and audience retention.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of content and community engagement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with marketing and academic teams to align content with business goals and educational initiatives.
- Assist in organizing events, webinars, and live sessions to deepen engagement with learners.
- Gather and analyze community feedback to inform content, service, and product improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.Proven experience in community management and content creation, preferably in the EdTech or education sector.Proficiency in Kannada & English (Written and Spoken).Strong understanding of social media platforms, content distribution, and engagement strategies.Hands-on experience with content creation tools and social media management software.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects effectively.Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to track and measure engagement metrics.Required Skills
