ALLEN Online is seeking a Video Editor who combines storytelling craft, marketing understanding, and visual innovation to bring our brand and product communication to life. The individual will create a wide range of marketing videos — from product explainers and CRM content to performance-driven edits and course or faculty showcases — ensuring every piece is engaging, on-brand, and effective in driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing-Focused Video Creation
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for marketing campaigns across product, performance, social media, CRM, and website / app channels.
- Build compelling visual narratives for product explainers, student and faculty stories, and course showcases that bring the ALLEN Online experience to life.
- Optimise edits for different placements and objectives (e.g. lead generation, conversion, engagement).
- Maintain brand consistency while adapting to the needs of each channel and campaign.
Creative Storytelling & Motion Design
Use pacing, music, graphics, and animation to strengthen storytelling and keep audiences engaged.Integrate AI tools and motion design techniques to accelerate workflows and enhance creativity.Experiment with formats, transitions, and storytelling styles to ensure distinctiveness in a crowded category.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing, content, and creative teams to translate briefs into effective visual stories.Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and producers to ensure the message and tone remain consistent.Manage multiple projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.Skills
Expertise in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).Strong sense of rhythm, visual timing, and storytelling flow.Familiarity with sound design, basic colour correction, and motion graphics.Ability to adapt editing style to suit different campaign goals — product clarity, emotion, persuasion, etc.Comfort using AI-assisted tools for editing, voiceovers, or visual enhancement.Fluent in English and Hindi to ensure culturally relevant communication.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Media Production, Communication Design, or a related field.4–7 years of experience in video editing for marketing, advertising, or branded content.A strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across product, performance, and brand storytelling videos.
