Job Title : Node.js Developer

Location : Surat

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented 3 years+ Node.js Developer to join our team and build robust, secure, and high-performance backend APIs for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable APIs, implementing secure authentication methods, and optimizing performance. Familiarity with Shopify API integration is a plus. If you’re passionate about crafting seamless backend systems for mobile apps, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Ensure the security of backend services through robust data protection protocols.
  • Collaborate with mobile app developers to define API requirements and system interactions.
  • Optimize application performance for responsiveness and reliability.
  • Integrate and work with external APIs, with a preference for Shopify API adoption.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Expertise with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js.
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and development principles.
  • Experience in mobile app backend development, with a focus on performance and security.
  • Hands-on experience with authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT) and session management.
  • Strong knowledge of database design and experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Shopify API or experience working with eCommerce APIs is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
  • Knowledge of caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
