Job description

Job Responsibilities

Support Finance / Business planning cycles including SII (1-year Plan) and monthly estimate cycles and real-time analysis of variances vs plan

Participate in monthly / quarterly / yearly Accounting closing processes

Provide necessary analytics to highlight key business performance drivers; identifying risks and opportunities through the quarter and developing processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities

Consolidating actual operating performance and reporting results under US GAAP / Indian Statutory requirements

Working with Finance Managers and operations leaders to drive opportunities for improvement in variable cost, base cost, and material variances

Participate in cross functional and simplification projects that will improve rigor in key Finance processes

Interact / coordinate with the COEs (centers of excellence) to get business segment data for identifying areas of improvement

Partner with operations leaders on resolving matters requiring attention

Work with Controllership, Compliance & Operational teams to adopt Healthcare SOP’s and ensure regulatory compliance including tax, exports and customs laws

Develop and improve financial processes : Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, Capital Investment.

Support the process for tracking of capex investments and co-ordinate with operations teams in end-to-end management from budget requisition to final capitalization

Required Qualifications :

Preferably MBA Finance or ICWA with experience including building forecasts & operating plans, quarter-end activities, business processes and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications :

Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and able to create good working relationships with stakeholders

Strong analytical skills : able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers

Clear thinking / problem solving : successfully participate in cross-functional projects / process improvement within operations / finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas

Excellent communication skills : experience working across multiple functions, able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

Excellent PC skills : experience with financial systems / applications (i.e. : Oracle, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e.   pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)

Fluency in English

Confidence / Assertiveness : possess influencing skills across business functions; work closely with operations leaders to achieve business objectives

Adaptable / flexible : being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and / or to work in ambiguous situations

Integrity : Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
