Role Description

Client management : Manage a portfolio of clients, providing technical support and guidance to team members working under your team.

Performance oversight : Set and monitor productivity and budget goals, ensuring accurate billing.

Task management : Plan and delegate tasks effectively, offering technical support as needed.

Quality assurance : Review work completed by team members to ensure it is error-free, professionally presented, and compliant with procedures.

Tax return preparation : Prepare and review complex tax returns for various entities with minimal supervision.

Compliance work : Perform and review compliance tasks.

Management reports : Conduct in-depth analysis of management reports.

Clients : Australia based

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Commerce / Business with an emphasis in Accounting,

CA / CPA / ACCA / CA (Inter)

Understanding of the Corporations Act, relevant accounting standards, tax legislation

Knowledge of Australian taxation legislation (highly regarded)

Familiarity with Australian SMSF (Self-Managed Superannuation Fund) regulations (advantageous)

Experience using Xero and Class software (advantageous)

Excellent use of Office products

Experience - 3 to 5 years
