Job description
- Key Responsibilities :
- System Management : Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, and workstations. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance. Implement system upgrades and patches as needed. Network Administration : Maintain and support local and wide area networks (LAN / WAN).
- Configure network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Monitor network performance and implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats. Database Administration : Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and availability. Perform backups, disaster recovery planning, and data migration when necessary.
- Optimize database performance and perform troubleshooting. Cybersecurity : Implement security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber-attacks. Regularly conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures. Technical Support : Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Assist in the training of users on new technology implementations. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures. Prepare performance and incident reports for management.
