About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer (Backend Focused) to join our engineering team. This role demands deep expertise in backend development using JavaScript (Node.js) along with strong experience in System Design, SQL Databases, and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). Familiarity with frontend technologies like ReactJS is an added advantage for full stack Responsibilities :

  • Lead and contribute to the backend architecture, design, and development of scalable systems and APIs.
  • Own end-to-end development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and monitoring.
  • Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Drive system design discussions, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Implement efficient database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and manage relational databases.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on coding standards, best practices, and technical problem-solving.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and contribute to improving overall engineering Skills & Experience :
  • 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience using JavaScript (Node.js).
  • Strong understanding and experience with System Design concepts and patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL Databases : schema design, query optimization, indexing, and database

management.

  • Solid command of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience or working knowledge of ReactJS for frontend integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic to Have :
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
  • Experience in leading small-to-mid sized teams.
