Job Title : L3 Application Maintenance Engineer – Java, Spring Boot & Oracle / PostgreSQL Experience : 3.5 to 7 years Location : Hyderabad Shift : Rotational / Regional (covering Australia & Africa time zones)

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on L3 Application Maintenance Engineer with strong experience in Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, Oracle / PostgreSQL , and one application server ( WebLogic or JBOSS ). The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise applications, performing minor code fixes, analyzing backend issues, and ensuring end-to-end stability of production systems. Basic frontend exposure using HTML, JavaScript, Angular is desirable for UI-related maintenance and debugging.

The engineer will support mission-critical applications across Australia and Africa time zones through a rotational shift model.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L3 application maintenance support for enterprise applications built using Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, Struts / Spring MVC, Angular .
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues , perform root cause analysis (RCA) , and implement permanent fixes.
• Debug Java code (Servlets, JSP, EJB), REST / SOAP APIs, and microservices issues.
• Perform minor Java code, Spring Boot, Angular, and database script updates .
• Troubleshoot Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, PostgreSQL queries and data-related issues.
• Analyze logs and performance metrics from WebLogic or JBOSS application servers.
• Collaborate with L2 support and development teams for issue triage and resolution.
• Monitor application health, database performance, and system stability to prevent recurrence of incidents.
• Maintain documentation including knowledge base updates, RCA reports, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in rotational shifts covering Australia & Africa time zones for 24×7 application maintenance support.
