Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, configure, and maintain Polarion ALM solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Customize workflows, dashboards, user interfaces, and templates within Polarion.
  • Integrate Polarion with other enterprise tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Git, DOORS, PLM systems) to streamline engineering processes.
  • Implement traceability matrices, test management, and compliance support features in Polarion.
  • Work closely with engineering and QA teams to align Polarion setups with project methodologies (Agile, V-model, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain custom extensions, scripts, and APIs for enhanced functionality.
  • Provide technical documentation, user training, and ongoing support to internal teams.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with Siemens support or vendors as needed for upgrades and complex issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Polarion ALM development and administration.
  • Strong experience in XML, JavaScript, Velocity templates, and Polarion APIs.
  • Experience integrating Polarion with tools like Jira, Git, or CI / CD systems.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ALM / PLM processes.
  • Familiarity with test management, requirements traceability, and change control workflows.
  • Good knowledge of software configuration management and release processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or other compliance standards.
  • Experience with Java, Python, or other scripting languages for integration.
  • Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter, Codebeamer, or other ALM / PLM platforms
