Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering (IE) team to achieve plant efficiency targets.
- Analyze production processes, workflows, and layouts to identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices, time studies, and work measurement techniques.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), line balancing, and process documentation.
- Define manpower planning and capacity requirements based on production forecasts.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives by identifying and eliminating non-value-adding activities.
- Coordinate with design, quality, production, and maintenance teams to improve product manufacturability.
- Monitor KPIs like productivity, efficiency, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and cycle time.
- Lead automation and digitization projects within the manufacturing unit.
- Conduct training sessions for shop-floor staff on IE tools and lean techniques.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.8+ years of relevant experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other IE tools.Proficiency in time and motion study, method study, and layout optimization.Familiarity with ERP / MES systems and industrial engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MOST, Work-Factor, etc.).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Strong communication and team management abilities.Skills Required
