Job description

Role : BMC TrueSight Admin

Description : BMC related Support - L2

Required Technical Skill Set : TrueSight & Related Monitoring tools

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral competency) :

Must Have :

  • Principles of BMC TrueSight Operations Management installation, Upgrade,integration ,Administration, configuration (Especially with version 10.x & later)
  • Good experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows, RHEL,AIX Solaris OS
  • Basics in working on knowledge modules like DB,Websphere, Exchange,Sentry hardware, Sentry monitoring studio etc. along with basic KMs like OS,LOG,URL
  • Good to have working knowledge of custom KMs
  • Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent, TrueSight server component issues
  • Knowledge in Event Management policy Administration,configuration
  • Working knowledge of MRLs,custom classes
  • Knowledge of Datacenter IT Infrastructure components, Unix, Windows OS, Virtualization

Good to Have :

  • Infrastructure knowledge on Operating system and Database
  • Good communication skills set, Understand and clear communication to the business on impact of major incidents
  • Excellent problem analysis skill set
