Purpose

To act as the

thinking engine

behind the content — ensuring every post, campaign, or collaboration ladders up to a business goal and audience insight.

Core Deliverables

  • Translate business and marketing objectives into

social-first strategy decks.

  • Define
  • content pillars, audience segments, tone of voice

    , and platform differentiation.

  • Research trends, formats, competitors, and emerging creators for ideation.
  • Partner with design and copy teams to conceptualize and storyboard campaigns.
  • Build insight-based campaign pitches and monthly performance decks.
  • Day-to-Day Scope

  • Morning : Scan industry trends, algorithm updates, and cultural insights.
  • Midday : Work on strategy decks, content pillar audits, and post-performance evaluations.
  • Afternoon : Collaborate with creative teams on ideation and mood boards.
  • End of day : Build content calendars or briefs for client review.
  • Weekly : Present insights and next-step recommendations to SMM and Head of Social.
  • Skill Arsenal

  • Research & analytics-driven thinking (Google Trends, RivalIQ, BuzzSumo).
  • Storyboarding & presentation design (PowerPoint, Canva, or Keynote).
  • Creative thinking — ability to craft campaign narratives around insights.
  • Comfortable with paid + organic integration.
  • Writing and ideation skills to brief copy / design teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation delivery.
  • KPIs

  • Strategic clarity and originality of campaigns.
  • Engagement lift vs benchmarks after implementation.
  • Efficiency of content pillars (high-performing content ratio).
  • Insight adoption rate across brand teams.
  • Proactiveness in trend integration and platform-first recommendations.
