Job descriptionProficiency in CAD software (Inventor / SolidWorks / Catia, AutoCAD etc.) and 3D modelling. Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ASME, API, EN, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments and customers. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Experience with static equipment design and detailing.
Key Accountabilities :
- Will be responsible for the detailed design, drafting, and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, reactors, boilers, and other non-moving equipment in industrial plants.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and design documents for static equipment based on project specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Ensure that all drawings are clear, precise and comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, EN, and ASTM).
- Create detailed fabrication drawings.
- Develop 3D models of equipment using CAD software (e.g., Inventor / SolidWorks / Catia, AutoCAD).
- Support the project leader in ensuring the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- The role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
