Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant with a strong background in core ABAP development, along with hands-on expertise in CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and performance-optimized development using HANA database capabilities. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects, preferably in S / 4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize custom programs using SAP ABAP on HANA.
Develop and enhance CDS Views and AMDP procedures to leverage HANA’s in-memory computing.
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and optimize Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF).
Implement Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) techniques and follow SAP best practices.
Debug and resolve technical issues, performance tuning, and data modeling using HANA.
Participate in full life-cycle SAP implementations and upgrades including testing and deployment.
Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date and aligned with implementation standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (FICO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) in an Agile or Waterfall delivery model.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP including Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BADI, BAPI, ALV, and SmartForms.

Expertise in SAP HANA-based development – particularly CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting.

Good understanding of S / 4HANA Data Models and Core Data Services (CDS) Annotations.

Experience in Performance Tuning and Code Optimization on HANA DB.

Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP.

Experience in RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP) or OData services is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Transport Management, Debugging Tools, and Code Inspector.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

4+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.

Minimum 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects, preferably in S / 4HANA.

SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
