Job Description
The Centralized Research Group (CRG) collaborates closely with the firm's Global Investment Banking (GIB), Global Corporate Banking (GCB) and Commercial Banking (CB) teams offering customized financial solutions across Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity / Debt capital raising, Credit, Treasury, Cash Management, Trade, and Markets, among others.
Job Responsibilities :
- Supporting global insurance coverage : Collaborate across regions to evaluate insurance market conditions, follow client and sector developments, and propose client-focused opportunities
- Preparing Marketing materials and deal support : Collaborate with global teams to prepare diverse marketing and analytical materials, support RfPs, and independently contribute to execution projects such as presentations, information memoranda, and due diligence documents
- Conducting financial analysis, valuation, and engage in research to support customized financial solutions across various investment banking services.
- Playing a proactive role in supporting the various client engagements which may span across :
- Conducting Actuarial due diligence, IFRS17 , Cashflow stress testing, NBP Margins assessment and VIF analysis
- Lending support on strands of research and Specialisms work aimed at providing key insights to help our clients
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :
Member of Institute of Actuaries (UK) , SoA and CAS of US and / or Institute of Actuaries of India and must have passed significant actuarial exams from any of these institutesAt least 3 years experience with working in actuarial audit, due diligence or in a captive actuarial teamHands-on knowledge and expertise in using AXIS actuarial system (Moody's)Ability to 'own' projects, take initiative, and ability to find solutions that balance actuarial and project requirementsStrong communication skills (written as well as verbal) and an ability to precisely articulate thoughtsAwareness of banking solutions and services. Knowledge of accounting, analyzing company financials and financial modeling in MS Office applications. Ability to efficiently multi-task and handle multiple deliverable / projectsClose attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality output under pressureStrong team player demonstrating integrity and ability to work with teams across geographies. Pro-active, self-starter and an ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Ensure the highest ethical standards and regulatory compliance within the firmStrong analytical bent of mind and quantitative skills. Ability to analyze / interpret large sets of data and provide thoughtful insights and conclusionSkills Required
