Cable Design Engineer

Key Skills :

• Conduct technical evaluations of various cables in compliance with IS / IEC / BS / AS-NZS Standards.
• Perform electrical and thermal performance calculations for cable systems.
• Assist the Marketing team by providing technical expertise, ensuring alignment with specifications.
• Draft and refine calculation notes until customer approval is obtained.
• Compile essential information for system qualification.
• Develop and validate specialized calculation procedures using standard inputs and international standards..
• Focus on functional and performance requisites, drawing from past design experiences.
• Specify product characteristics necessary for safe and proper usage, adapting designs as needed.
• Prepare Guaranteed Technical Particulars, cable drawings / Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and Raw Material (RM) calculations based on customer specifications.
