We are looking for an energetic and passionate Practice Lead – AWS + Open-source Stack to build and grow our AWS practice from the ground up. This is a "hands-on leadership role" suited for someone who thrives in an " entrepreneurial environment" , enjoys creating structure from scratch, and is eager to drive cloud adoption and innovation for clients. In summary, ambitious to be the CEO of a practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow the AWS practice, including defining differentiated service offerings, delivery frameworks, go-to-market strategy and quality services delivery to clients.
  • Lead cloud engineering initiatives, pre-sales technical / marketing support, solution design, and implementation using AWS services.
  • Build a small, high-performing team of AWS professionals over time and mentor them for excellence.
  • Collaborate with sales and business leaders to identify opportunities, support pre-sales, and contribute to proposal development.
  • Ensure the post-sales services delivery is within timelines, budget and as per promises made to clients.
  • Enhance the brand equity of Practice through internal and external communication channels e.g. .
  • Stay current with AWS technologies, tools, and certifications to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements

  • Around 10 years of experience in IT, with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, architecture, migration and Open Innovation .
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage deliveries of AWS-based solutions across AWS infrastructure, DevOps and Open-source Stack.
  • Experience supporting sales / marketing and in delivering solutions to external clients.
  • Experience in building or scaling a cloud practice or related competency is highly desirable.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset.
