Assistant Professor (VFX & Motion Graphics)

About the Role

The faculty will be responsible for designing and delivering courses that teach students the art and craft of motion graphics & VFX. The successful candidate will have experience in the film and entertainment industry and a passion for teaching. The role involves teaching and guiding students in motion graphics and VFX, ensuring they gain both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and Proficiency in the following Software / Applications :
• Adobe Creative Cluster : Photoshop | After Effects | Premiere Pro | Illustrator
• 3D Software : Autodesk Maya or 3DS Max or Blender or Cinema 4D
• Compositing : The Foundry Nuke or Autodesk Flame or Black Magic Fusion
• DI Software : Da Vinci Resolve | Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of Indian; International Cinema and its application in VFX industry
• To conduct theory classes in respective subjects and to conduct practical classes of specialization as well as common Course as per departmental requirements.
• To guide student on one-to-one basis.
• To assist in carrying out the functions relating to the educational responsibilities including coordination and supervision.
• To supervise academic practical / workshop / exercises / projects of the students and provide theoretical; practical knowledge with assessment.
• To coordinate and carry out assignment for study tour / fieldwork / workshops as may be necessary for the courses.
• To carry out assignment with regards to the entrance exam / admission of the students.
• To help in maintaining Academic Discipline in the department.
• (Candidates are required to produce evidence of professional works done)

Qualifications

Master Degree / PG Diploma from a recognized University or Institution of repute

Required Skills

Proficiency in the listed software and applications.
