Role Overview

We are looking for a professional who can drive Machine Learning models for our demand planning and forecasting processesacross multiple regions. The ideal candidate will combine strong data science capabilities with effective communication skills to deliver excellence in quality of models working in cross-functional global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Build and improve ML data models for demand planning and forecasting globally, ensuring accuracy and consistency in approach within 2 main platforms we use today (SAP IBP and o9).

Understand and capture multi regional business needs to design scalable forecasting solutions.

Provide data-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias, and optimize inventory planning as well as drive adoption and process maturity.

Establish and monitor KPIs for forecasting performance , ensuring continuous improvement.

Collaborate with regional teams to standardize forecasting , and promoting best practices.

Support automation and touchless opportunities in demand planning processes using data science and analytics techniques .

Conduct root cause analysis for forecast deviations and implement corrective actions.

Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels to drive decisions and actions.

Drive capability building across regions on forecasting methodologies and analytics tools .

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Strong background in demand planning, forecasting, and statistical modeling .

Working knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms.

Ability to interpret data and translate insights into business recommendations .

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .

Experience in multi-country or regional planning environments is a plus.
