Job descriptionManage corporate income tax return filing, advance tax calculations, and tax provisioning. Ensure full compliance with TDS deductions, deposits, and return filing (24Q / 26Q). Handle income tax audits, scrutiny, rectification requests, and appeals. Assist in preparing MAT, deferred tax calculations, and other tax workings. Liaise with GST, income tax, and other statutory authorities for assessments, queries, and clarifications. Coordinate with government departments for follow-ups on refunds, notices, and compliance updates. Represent the company during inspections, hearings, and departmental meetings. Maintain professional relationships with officials to ensure timely resolution of issues. Provide tax-impact analysis for business decisions and financial transactions. Recommend tax-efficient structures while ensuring full statutory compliance. Support statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax auditors with required documentation and queries. Maintain updated working papers and compliance trackers for audit reviews. Maintain comprehensive records for assessments, reconciliations, notices, and legal correspondence. Ensure accurate preparation and filing of all statutory documentation.
Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with strong specialization in Taxation.
- 6–8 years of experience in GST, income tax, TDS, and corporate taxation.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and MS Excel.
