We are Looking for - Senior Associate - Freight Forwarding - Chennai - 5Days office

Job Title : Senior Associate

Experience : 2 to 4 years

Industry : Freight Forwarding

Location : MEPZ, Tambaram, Chennai

Shift : US / Europe / Dubai

Job Description :

  • Education : Any bachelor's degree (UG / PG in Logistics preferred).
  • Experience : 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on export and import shipping documentation and operations.

Skills :

  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in email writing.
  • Good knowledge of shipping and logistics concepts.
  • Must have prior experience supporting Middle East / Europe or US region for shipping documentation process.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

    • Key Accountabilities :

    1. Shipping Documentation :

    2. Handle end-to-end shipping import / export documentation back-office process.

    3. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

    4. Coordinate with shipping lines and other stakeholders.

    5. Mailbox Management :

    6. Manage and oversee assigned mailboxes.

    7. Provide timely responses to email queries.

    8. Client Coordination :

    9. Maintain current knowledge of client scope requirements and processes.

    10. Assist in resolving processing issues or customer escalations as they arise.

    11. Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status and other relevant information.
