Job descriptionIdentify potential partners (OEMs, recyclers, metal refiners, utilities, logistics). Build business cases and synergy models for JV opportunities. Support deal structuring, negotiations, and strategic alignment with Attero’s goals. Maintain a pipeline of strategic acquisition targets in India and overseas. Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence. Develop post-merger integration blueprints to ensure synergy capture. Drive market entry analysis for Europe, US, SE Asia, and Middle East. Prepare country risk, regulation, and financial models for new facilities. Work with local advisors and partners to structure deals and operating models. Prepare investor and board materials on market positioning and strategic moves. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Policy, BD) for execution of high-priority projects. Lead 0→1 pilots in new business lines (e.g., magnet recycling, black mass refining). 2–3 years in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Strategy (industrial / clean tech preferred). Exposure to M&A, JVs, market entry, or policy-driven industries. Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and research skills. Ability to synthesize complex data into crisp recommendations for senior leadership. Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to execute fast. Shape global expansion of a pioneering Indian cleantech company. Work directly with the founders and leadership team on high-impact decisions. Operate at the nexus of sustainability, technology, and international business. Be part of building a circular economy for critical minerals, securing India’s future in EVs and clean energy.

Role Overview
As part of the Founder’s Office, the Strategy Lead will work directly with the founders to shape Attero’s growth agenda. This role blends market intelligence, international business expansion, joint ventures, M&A evaluation, and strategic projects execution. It offers a unique opportunity to influence high-stakes decisions at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and global business.
