Description :
A SIAM Consultant job profile includes knowledge of Service Integration and Management (SIAM) methodology, experience with multi-vendor management, understanding of ITIL and similar frameworks, strong communication and negotiation skills, and expertise in operational risk management and service delivery. The consultant coordinates internal and external service providers to ensure integrated, effective service delivery and supports the client in achieving business objectives.
Main Responsibilities :
- Coordination of service providers : Directing and coordinating the collaboration between various internal and external service providers (partners, suppliers).
- End-to-end service management : Ensuring the integrated delivery of all services, from start to finish.
- Implementation of SIAM : Applying the SIAM methodology, including best practices, processes and roles, to optimize service delivery.
- Managing the service integrator role : Functioning as the central coordinator (the "service integrator") between the client organization and the service providers.
- Risk management : Identifying, assessing and mitigating operational risks within service delivery.
- Service quality : Evaluate and improve the quality of services provided through strong analytical skills.
- Communication and relationship management : Building and maintaining good relationships with various stakeholders through effective communication and negotiations.
Required skills and knowledge :
- SIAM knowledge : In-depth knowledge of Service Integration and Management principles and methodology.
- Service Management frameworks : A deep understanding of frameworks such as ITIL to ensure they are aligned with best practices.
- Multi-vendor management : Demonstrable experience working with and coordinating multiple third parties and vendors.
- IT operations : Strong knowledge of IT operations, including service delivery and support practices.
- Analytical skills : The ability to analyse data to assess and improve service quality.
- Communication skills : Strong communication and negotiation skills for successful stakeholder relationships.
- Change Management : Familiarity with change management processes and tools is an advantage.
- Compliance and regulations : Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards for a secure IT environment.
