Job description

Description GSPANN is hiring Network Engineers with 6+ years of experience in LAN / WLAN setup, troubleshooting, and network security. Work with Cisco and Palo Alto Networks to build and manage high-performance enterprise networks.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and manage Local Area Network (LAN) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform regular network maintenance tasks such as firmware updates, hardware replacements, and health checks.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
  • Optimize network performance through proactive tuning and configuration techniques.
  • Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Leverage network monitoring tools to continuously assess performance and identify potential risks.
  • Document network configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support compliance and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to address network-related needs and integrate new technologies seamlessly.
  • Lead network projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions, by applying effective project management practices.
  • Mentor and support junior network engineers in diagnosing and resolving complex network challenges.

Skills and Experience

  • Bring 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with hands-on expertise in LAN and WLAN configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco and Juniper.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of network protocols, including Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP / IP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
  • Use advanced network monitoring and analysis tools to optimize system performance.
  • Apply excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively and foster collaboration through strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Implement and manage network security solutions and tools to safeguard enterprise systems.
  • Provide guidance on process accountability, data monitoring, and exception monitoring to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Manage and optimize technical business performance, with a focus on automating and simplifying key business processes.
