Job Role :
We are looking for an HR Business Partner with 5–7 years of experience to support our IT and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of HRBP experience within an IT services or IT product environment and understands the unique needs of technology teams, project-based structures, and technical talent.
In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders, engineering managers, delivery teams, and the Talent Acquisition function to support workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and overall employee experience.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with IT, Engineering, and Delivery leaders to understand business priorities, workforce needs, and skill requirements
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support tech hiring, ensure smooth onboarding, and deliver an excellent candidate experience
- Support managers with people-related topics including performance discussions, team engagement, career growth, and retention
- Lead HR processes for tech teams such as performance management, skill mapping, goal setting, and career progression
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees, ensuring a positive and transparent employee experience
- Manage employee relations for technical teams, including conflict resolution, project transitions, and policy clarifications
- Collaborate with business leaders on succession planning and talent planning for critical technical roles
- Review and track HR metrics (attrition, project movements, engagement scores, hiring progress) to provide insights and recommendations
- Support L&D initiatives for technical employees by coordinating training needs, skill-development programs, and upskilling opportunities
- Partner with HR Operations, TA, and other HR teams to ensure timely and seamless execution of HR processes
- Stay updated on IT industry trends, emerging roles, and market expectations to support better workforce planning
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldOverall 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years as an HR Business Partner in an IT services or IT product companyStrong understanding of IT roles (developers, QA, DevOps, cloud, data, support…etc.) and project-based delivery modelsExperience working with engineering managers, delivery teams, and technical leadershipStrong knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and employee lifecycle in tech environmentsAbility to build strong relationships with technical teams and influence decisions with data and insightsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skillsProactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with professionalism.
