About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee delivery, operations, hiring, people management and client engagement in our technology business within the capital markets domain. The role requires a strong mix of domain knowledge, operational excellence, people leadership, and client management skills to drive efficiency, quality, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee end-to-end service delivery across consulting, managed services, and technology solutions for capital markets clients (e.g., hedge funds, investment banks, trading platforms).
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs for project delivery, client satisfaction, quality assurance, and productivity.
- Drive continuous process improvement in delivery frameworks, governance, and compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as a senior escalation point for clients, ensuring service excellence and long-term relationship growth.Translate client needs into scalable delivery models and value-added solutions.People Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams of technologists.Develop a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and talent management.Foster collaboration between across teams and projects.Oversee the hiring process by working closely with the HR team.Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years in a senior operations leadership role.Strong understanding of capital markets (trading, risk, compliance, middle / back-office operations, FIX, OMS / EMS, etc.).Proven track record in delivery management, operations scaling, and client engagement .Experience working with global clients, particularly hedge funds, investment banks, and asset managers.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.B.Tech or MBA degree preferred.
