Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, including network, compute, and storage services.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices and protocols.
  • Automate infrastructure and workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to support CI / CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions are in place and tested.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in Linux-based systems and database management (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Background in software development and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools, version control systems (Git), and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
