Key Responsibilities :
- Develop Operational risk policies under a framework and identify risks due to process, systems, and people in the business processes
- Maintain the risk register up to date-based process walk throughs and other incidents
- Periodically do assessments of the processes and check the effectiveness of the controls established and report any gaps
- Evaluate risks on any new processes and technologies before implementation and sign off
- Effectively perform the technical components of risk assessments to provide an accurate view of current risk state
- Assess and design internal controls by applying an understanding of internal control design frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Conduct workshops and brainstorming sessions for business functions and providing support in operational risk identification & assessment
- Travel to different business locations as required and check the adherence to process and controls
- Coordinate all Audit Committee Meetings, presentation and leading discussions on risk, internal audit, control effectiveness & efficiency
Qualifications :
Masters / Bachelors degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field;(CFA, FRM) are a plus.2 to 5 years of experience in Operational risk management or related roles within the NBFC or banking sector.Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices.Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, data analysis, and risk reporting tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Skills Required
