System Setup & Maintenance :
Configure and maintain the SPPID reference database.Create and manage symbology, filters, reports, and system documentation.Ensure daily backup routines and system integrity.Project Support :
Aid in technical requirements gathering and client meetings.Implement new SPPID builds and project-specific customizations.Troubleshoot and resolve P&ID-related issues.Data Management :
Manage data transfers, MTO downloads, and report generation.Populate data from external sources (e.g., Excel) into SPPID.Quality Assurance :
Develop and enforce auditing requirements.Ensure compliance with client and departmental drafting standards.Training & Documentation :
Conduct user and advanced-level training sessions.Create detailed work instructions and setup documentation.Integration & Automation :
Integrate SPPID with tools like SPF, COMOS, and Excel.Support automation enhancements and evaluate new software versions.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.6–15 years of experience in SPPID administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.In-depth knowledge of SPPID modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.).Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle / MS SQL) and SmartPlant Foundation.Experience with integration of SPPID with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
