Job Description : Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Techno-Functional Business Analyst with a strong background in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) implementation.
The ideal candidate is a go-getter who is passionate about exploring new technologies, can effectively engage with business stakeholders, and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive successful system implementations and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for LIMS-related projects.Lead the end-to-end implementation of LIMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for solution design and delivery.Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and successful execution of project goals.Proactively research and evaluate emerging technologies to support business processes and recommend innovative solutions.Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate project updates and gain stakeholder buy-in.Support testing, validation, and training activities during the LIMS implementation lifecycle.Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within laboratory and data management workflows.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.4 - 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with hands-on experience in LIMS implementation.Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and data management principles.Techno-functional mindset with the ability to grasp new technologies and bridge the gap between business and IT.Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is a plus.Preferred Skills :
Familiarity with LIMS platforms (e., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, Thermo Fisher SampleManager, etc.)Understanding of regulatory requirements in the life sciences or healthcare domain (e., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).Experience with system integrations, data migration, or validation processes is advantageous.(ref : hirist.tech)
