Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade SAP solutions, with a focus on modern ABAP programming paradigms, cloud integration, and extensibility.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP applications using RAP for Fiori / UI5 and cloud-ready solutions.
• Build and deploy applications on SAP BTP , leveraging CAP / RAP frameworks and cloud services.
• Develop and optimize CDS Views, OData services, and AMDPs for scalable and performant applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement SAP S / 4HANA extensions using In-App and Side-by-Side extensibility .
• Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core principles and modern development practices.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging of complex ABAP programs.
• Integrate SAP systems with external applications using APIs, REST, and event-driven architecture .
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
• Stay updated with SAP innovations in RAP, BTP, and S / 4HANA.
