Role Description
T his is a full-time on-site role for an Industry Connect and Outreach Education Account Manager, located in Bengaluru. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and managing relationships with industry partners, developing and executing outreach programs, and connecting students with relevant opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include account management, engagement with stakeholders, and leveraging CRM systems to maintain accurate records of interactions. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with overall business objectives.
Job Summary :
The Industry Connect and Outreach Education Account Manager is a key sales role responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with colleges, universities, and industry partners. This person will be the face of ComedKares to educational institutions, securing MOUs and POs, and generating new student leads for our Innovation Hub programs. The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic sales professional with a passion for education and a deep understanding of the academic and corporate landscapes in Karnataka.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales and Business Development :
- Identify and target potential client institutions (colleges, universities) for strategic partnerships and program enrollment.
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Initiate and lead sales meetings, presentations, and discussions with key decision-makers, including college management, deans, and program heads.
- Generate and secure new student leads through MOU and direct sign-ups within educational institutions and on-campus events.
Account Management and Relationship Building :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned educational accounts.Build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with college and university partners to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty.Understand the specific needs and curricula of each institution to tailor and propose relevant ComedKares programs and services.Collaborate with internal teams (Program Managers, Admin) to ensure successful delivery of programs and client expectations are met.Documentation and Reporting :
Prepare and present compelling proposals and secure official Purchase Orders (POs) from client institutions.Finalize and sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) to formalize partnerships and student enrollment agreements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system.Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.Market and Industry Outreach :
Stay informed on current trends in higher education, skill development, and industry demands.Represent ComedKares at industry conferences, educational fairs, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate new leads.Leverage professional networks to identify potential opportunities for student engagement and corporate collaboration.Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.Proven track record of success in a sales or account management role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.Demonstrable experience in the education or technology sector, with a strong understanding of the Indian higher education system.Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required to visit client institutions.Show more
