Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled DataStage Developer to join our team supporting HSBC’s data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IBM Infosphere DataStage , GCP , Unix Shell Scripting , and SQL , with a strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Implement data transformation, cleansing, and validation logic.
• Develop and optimize Unix Shell Scripts for ETL job automation and scheduling.
• Write and maintain SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Perform data profiling, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality data integration.
• Monitor job performance and apply performance tuning techniques.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes and data workflows.
