Job description

A fast-growing SaaS company is on a mission to transform how businesses manage and recover debt through the power of AI and automation. As a DevOps Engineer you’ll play a critical role in scaling, securing, and automating our LAMP-based SaaS infrastructure on AWS. In this role you’ll take full ownership of our cloud architecture, CI / CD pipelines and containerized environments, ensuring every deployment is fast, reliable and secure.

This is not a passive maintenance role — it’s an opportunity to lead DevOps initiatives , you’ll architect, automate and innovate. Working closely with developers, product and leadership, you’ll drive our DevOps culture forward and help shape a platform trusted by global financial partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build and maintain secure, highly scalable AWS infrastructure for our LAMP-based SaaS applications.
  • Optimize server performance across Apache / Nginx, MySQL (RDS / Aurora) and PHP environments.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated, repeatable, and secure deployments.
  • Manage DNS and traffic distribution via Route 53, ALB, and ELB.
  • Implement security tools including AWS WAF, GuardDuty and Security Hub.
  • Architect VPCs, IAM roles, load balancers, CloudFront, SQS and Lambda integrations.
  • Design, manage and automate deployment and provisioning through CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins / GitLab CI).
  • Manage and optimize containerized environments.
  • Integrate and manage Kafka or RabbitMQ for reliable, event-driven communication.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot, optimize and release features seamlessly.
  • Drive security-first practices, including encryption, IAM policies and compliance readiness (SOC2, ISO27001).
  • Continuously monitor performance, cost and reliability, making proactive improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in AWS DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services – IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, Lambda, SQS, CloudFront, Route53, etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting – Bash, Shell, Python or PHP for automation and tooling.
  • Strong understanding of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache / Nginx, MySQL, PHP).
  • Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures.
  • Problem-solver who can figure things out independently , learn fast and work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
  • Experience securing and monitoring infrastructure with WAF, KMS, GuardDuty or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards like SOC2, or ISO 27001.
  • Preferred to have AWS certifications.
