Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Foundry Production Manager to lead our team in producing high-quality metal castings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production process, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production schedules, workflows, and resources to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor production staff, including mold makers, melters, and quality control inspectors.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and repair of foundry equipment, including furnaces, molding machines, and material handling systems.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, including material usage, labor, and energy consumption.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and monitor results.
• Customer Communication: Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand requirements and resolve any issues.
• Reporting: Provide regular production reports, including metrics on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical , Mechanical , Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field .
• Experience: Minimum- 8 years of experience in foundry production management.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of foundry processes including - melting, molding, and casting , Core Shop .
• Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and heavy lifting.
• Work Schedule: Regular 8 Am to 6 PM
