Job Description – Online Tutor (Mathematics)

Position : Online Tutor

Mode : Work from Home

Subject : Mathematics (Statistics, Lower Math, Higher Math)

Tutor Session Rate : ₹375 / - per tutoring hour

Onboarding Requirements & Timings (IST)

  • Statistics + Lower Math : 10 : 30 PM – 5 : 30 AM | 5 : 30 AM – 12 : 30 PM
  • Higher Math : 9 : 30 PM – 3 : 30 AM | 3 : 30 Am-10 : 30 Am | 10 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Role Overview

As an Online Mathematics Tutor , you will provide high-quality academic assistance to U.S. students (Graduation / Post-Graduation level) through an interactive chat-based process. The primary goal is to help learners understand mathematical concepts clearly and enhance their academic performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging and accurate tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Statistics.
  • Maintain clarity and consistency in written communication in English.
  • Dedicate a minimum of 6 hours daily based on the allotted shift.
  • Respond promptly to student queries on the online platform.
  • Adhere to defined academic and content quality standards.

    • Essential Competencies

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Statistics.
  • Excellent written communication and conceptual explanation skills in English.
  • Typing speed of 25–40 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and internet research.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality output.

    • Work Details

  • Work Mode : Remote (Work from Home)
  • Working Days : Monday to Friday (Saturday–Sunday fixed off)
  • Work Hours : Minimum 6 hours per day (as per selected shift)
  • Compensation : ₹375 per tutoring hour

    • Selection Process

  • First Round : Online Subject Test (Minimum 70% passing score)
  • Second Round : Telephonic Interview
  • Third Round : Documentation
  • Final Round : Training (Client subject test and mock session)
