Job descriptionSolid understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common network connectivity and performance issues. Knowledge of LAN, WAN, MPLS, and enterprise internet technologies. Experience working in data center environments and understanding of infrastructure operations. Familiarity with Nginx setup and configuration for web traffic handling. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site and client VPNs for secure access. Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, changes, and standard procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
Linux :
- Administer, install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Perform routine system updates, patching, configuration changes, and backups.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve system errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage the container lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Utilize Ansible for automation and configuration management across environments.
- Write basic automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
