We are looking for a stellar (Senior) Sales Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. The Sales Engineer will be the expert in Whatfix product(s). He / She will assist Sales in presenting the value proposition and benefits of the Whatfix solution to prospects.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a strong understanding of the Whatfix product suite and stay up to date on competitive offerings.
  • Partner with the sales team to deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition and technical benefits of Whatfix solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Lead the technical discovery process to understand client needs and map them to our platform capabilities.
  • Support and respond to RFPs / RFIs with accurate and compelling technical content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Represent Whatfix at events such as conferences, webinars, and customer workshops.
  • Capture and relay customer feedback to influence product direction.
  • Provide consultative guidance throughout complex sales cycles, helping prospects envision successful outcomes.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years in Presales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or related technical roles.
  • Strong foundation in web technologies : HTML5, CSS3 (including Grid, Flexbox, and animations), and JavaScript (ES5, ES6+).
  • Previous hands-on development experience or background in web / software development.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling way.
  • Experience working with SaaS products or implementing enterprise software solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, or events (domestic and occasional international travel required).
  • Nice to Have

  • Understanding of SaaS business models and performance-focused platforms.
  • Prior experience in digital adoption, user engagement platforms, or enterprise SaaS tools is a plus.
