Cloud Platform Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and database management.

Key Responsibilities :

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CI / CD pipelines.
Optimize and manage databases like Oracle, Redshift, Exadata, Postgres.
Set up and maintain systems like Tableau, Apache Airflow, Kafka, and cloud-based databases.
Ensure cloud environments follow best practices in security, scalability, and reliability.
Implement DevOps best practices for automation, monitoring, and logging.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and performance issues efficiently.
Collaborate with development and data teams to enable a seamless cloud ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible.

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.

Experience in CI / CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.

Deep knowledge of databases like Oracle, Exadata.

Experience in setting up and managing platforms like Tableau, Airflow, Kafka.

Expertise in cloud networking, security, and cost optimization.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications.
