Job description

Knowledge of various types of cutting tools and raw material (RM) grades

Manage and maintain tooling inventory effectively

Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely tool availability based on machine loading plans

Issue tools to the production team as per requirements

Maintain records of tool damage or breakage

Operate tool pre-setter for tool calibration and setting

Support tool procurement aligned with production schedules

Ensure adherence to 5S practices in the tool room

Skills Required

Cutting tools knowledge, Raw material grades, Tool inventory management, Tool issuing, Damage, Tool pre-setter operation, Tool procurement
