Job Title : Drum Faculty

Job Summary
The Drum faculty at The Goa Jazz Academy will be responsible for curricular activities such as private classes and program classes, and non-curricular activities such as curriculum design, jam sessions with students, and student showcases.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contribute to the development of the Drum department.
- Conduct and organise online / offline classes punctually and rigorously.
- Coordinate with students and other faculty to ensure school’s operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement the Drum curriculum, including technique, repertoire, and ensemble performance.
- Participate in student jams and student showcases.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.At least 2 years of performance experience.Musical Skills and Competencies
Fluency in music reading / writing (including drum notation).Ability to create and adapt teaching materials.Familiarity with jazz is a bonus but not mandatory.Personal Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with online learning management platforms.Strong organisational and project management abilities.Creative and innovative thinking.Job Requirements
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for special events.Availability to spend working hours on campus outside class time for non-curricular activities and school-development projects.Working Conditions
