ZettaMine - SAP MDG Data Quality Lead

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MDG Data Quality Lead to drive and manage Master Data Governance (MDG) initiatives across multiple domains. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in SAP MDG, especially in Data Quality Management (DQM), and a solid understanding of Business Partner (BP), Material Master (MM), and Financial (FI) domains. This role involves defining and implementing data quality rules, managing the DQM framework, and ensuring overall data integrity and governance across SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP MDG solutions focused on data quality.
• Define and maintain MDG Data Quality Frameworks, rules, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Implement DQM (Data Quality Management) processes, scorecards, and validation rules.
• Collaborate with data owners and business stakeholders to define data quality standards and requirements.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge in MDG domains : Business Partner (BP), Material Master (MM), and Finance (FI).
• Lead initiatives to standardize master data, improve data consistency, and drive data governance across all MDG domains.
• Develop and manage governance workflows and approval processes for data creation and updates.
• Ensure smooth integration of MDG with surrounding systems via SOA Services, IDocs, and other middleware tools.
• Support data migration efforts, including cleansing, enrichment, validation, and loading into SAP MDG.
• Work with data migration tools and techniques to onboard large data sets from legacy or external systems.
• Build automated validation and cleansing rules within the MDG system.
• Monitor and enhance data accuracy, completeness, and compliance using the DQM tool.
• Analyze data quality issues and work with business and IT teams to resolve root causes.
• Create detailed technical documentation, process flows, and SOPs related to data governance and MDG configurations.
• Define and promote MDG best practices and standards across the organization.
• Train junior team members and stakeholders on MDG tools and data quality frameworks.
