We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing to lead sales and business growth for the Gear & Shafts Division. This role requires a strategic professional who can drive business development, manage key accounts, lead a team, and handle techno-commercial operations.
Role & Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the company's growth strategy.
- Manage key customer accounts and develop long-term relationships.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Generate inquiries, follow up on leads, and prepare and negotiate proposals.
Marketing & Strategy :
Plan and execute marketing campaigns and product promotions.Conduct market research , competitor analysis, and identify new segments.Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic business plans.Techno-Commercial Operations :
Understand technical specifications and provide product demonstrations.Act as a bridge between customers and internal technical / product teams.Provide technical solutions, application support, and post-sales service coordination.Prepare cost sheets, quotations, and negotiate pricing with a profit-focused mindset.Team Management :
Lead, guide, and mentor a team of sales engineers or regional managers.Review team performance and ensure continuous skill development.Coordinate with other departments like production, R&D, and finance for seamless execution.Reporting & MIS :
Maintain and update sales reports, funnel data, and forecasts.Present monthly and quarterly business reviews to top management.Skills Required
Knowledge of driving sales and business growth for the Gear & Shafts Division .Proven ability in sales and business development .Experience in marketing strategy and market research.Strong techno-commercial skills , including technical solution provision and quotation preparation.Excellent team management and leadership abilities.Proficiency in CRM systems and sales forecasting.Skills Required
