Role Overview :
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Finance / Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization in the recruitment sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance, proven leadership experience, and deep industry knowledge of the recruitment / staffing sector. This role requires a recognized accounting qualification, substantial post-qualification experience, and the ability to align financial planning with the organization's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Financial Leadership :
- Develop and execute the financial strategy to support organizational goals and business growth.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team and stakeholders.
- Financial Planning and Analysis :
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Operational Financial Management :
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, cash flow management, and payroll.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
- Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Team Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Cost Management :
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within the organization.
- Manage and monitor expenses while maintaining service quality and operational effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement :
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all financial matters.
- Business Insights :
- Provide financial insights into pricing strategies, margin optimization, and revenue growth within the recruitment sector.
- Analyze market trends and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.
Key Qualifications : - Education :
- Recognized accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience :
- Substantial post-qualification experience (10+ years) in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in the recruitment / staffing sector is mandatory.
- Technical Expertise :
- Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel.
