Finance Head

Role Overview :

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Finance / Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization in the recruitment sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance, proven leadership experience, and deep industry knowledge of the recruitment / staffing sector. This role requires a recognized accounting qualification, substantial post-qualification experience, and the ability to align financial planning with the organization's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Financial Leadership :
• Develop and execute the financial strategy to support organizational goals and business growth.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team and stakeholders.
• Financial Planning and Analysis :
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Operational Financial Management :
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, cash flow management, and payroll.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Compliance and Risk Management :
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Team Leadership :
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Cost Management :
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within the organization.
• Manage and monitor expenses while maintaining service quality and operational effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement :
• Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all financial matters.
• Business Insights :
• Provide financial insights into pricing strategies, margin optimization, and revenue growth within the recruitment sector.
• Analyze market trends and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.
Key Qualifications :
• Education :
• Recognized accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
• Experience :
• Substantial post-qualification experience (10+ years) in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in the recruitment / staffing sector is mandatory.
• Technical Expertise :
• Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel.
